Brows frame your whole face, but it's easy to overdo them, and everyone always asks me what’s the best way to fill them whilst keeping them looking natural. The trick is to keep everything soft, so you end up with brows that look like yours, only better. Here's how I do mine with the BROWPERFECT Palette.
The 3 steps
1. Draw one line on the underside
Using the angled brush, pick the shade closest to your natural brow colour. Starting at the inner corner, draw a single line along the underside of your brow, up to the arch. This gives you the shape to build from. It also gives you a tidy line underneath, while the natural hairs at the top keep the overall brow looking tidy yet natural.
2. Diffuse it upwards
Don't add more product. Brush the line up into the brow to blend the powder through the hair. This is what stops it looking like a drawn-on line. Use the flat edge of the angled brush to push the product up.
3. Tighten the arch and tail
Go back in with soft, light strokes to tidy up the arch and the tail. Keep everything gentle and build slowly, because it's easier to add than to take away. Keep it light at the tail, tapering the pressure will give a soft definition rather than a harsh line.
A few tips
- Choose the shade closest to your natural colour. It will always look more natural than going darker. You can use the others as a powder eyeliner or eyeshadows.
- Soft strokes, always. Light pressure keeps the edges soft and avoids harsh lines.
- Stop sooner than you think. Brows should look groomed, not sculpted.
